I'm just glad to know I'm not the only mama apologizing for turning into something scary once in a while...um, every so often...well, ya know, pretty regularly. :P Good thing our sweet kiddoes forgive us for being human.Rebecca https://www.blogger.com/profile/05049268645214229527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4760301880687498036.post-21884872061131298462010-01-10T19:13:25.754-05:002010-01-10T19:13:25.754-05:00You are so sweet. Just yesterday I threw a full-scale tantrum when my brand-new vacuum got clogged (with pine needles...go figure) -- and the kids just looked on horrifed and scared over my complete loss of control. It happens, we feel horrible, we apologize, and by the grace of God, we try again. I love how Corrine put it above, and she's so right...wise woman!Michelle DeRushahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658349105535790020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4760301880687498036.post-70921867091626268652010-01-10T18:57:36.341-05:002010-01-10T18:57:36.341-05:00Kuddos to you Jo - both Dad and I leave your blog ...Kuddos to you Jo - both Dad and I leave your blog laughing, encouraged, and with a bit of fuel to "keep going"! I love reading Corinne's blog, looking forward to checking out the others you've linked to.

I've had to appologize to my little guy for yelling at him...it's a horrible, humbling feeling. I'm stiving to be a good a mother to him when it's just the two of us as I strive to be when we're out & about, but too often find myself falling short. I guess I'm a work in progress as a mother...Crystal @ Semi-Crunchy Mamahttp://semicrunchymama.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4760301880687498036.post-58811117912436745292010-01-10T09:14:22.067-05:002010-01-10T09:14:22.067-05:00One of my new year's resolutions revolves arou...One of my new year's resolutions revolves around kindness...not just to others but in my own home too. We would definitely be ...I think you're right. We would definitely be quite amused with ourselves!

And, about the having to apologize to your children,... I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I've actually said, "I'm sorry I scared you." Watch OUT! U-G-L-Y! You ain't got no alibi! Monster Mama rears her ugly head again. I've often been quite ashamed at myself for the way I treat my own children when I wouldn't dare act that way with someone else's kids. I told Brian one time that every day I wanted to speak to my babies the way I speak to them when I'm at someone else's house. If I can manage to control my temper when my friend is looking why would I not try to do the same when my God is looking? "He's still workin' on me to make me what I ought to be."
